IT-Administrator (F/M/D)

For our continuously growing IT team in Cologne, we are looking for a versatile IT Administrator (M/F/D) to start as soon as possible. We also offer training in this area.
Important Note: A valid work permit for Germany is required for this position!

Your Role
The NURO IT team manages a hybrid infrastructure comprising Microsoft, Linux, and macOS systems, focusing on:
- Managing IT infrastructure (networks, servers, and clients) onsite and in the cloud.
- Administration of central corporate IT services (Active Directory with Entra and Microsoft 365 integration, Jira, Git, Samba, OpenVPN, etc.).
- Managing external servers and cloud services (Debian, Docker, AWS, etc.).
- Managing IT resources (software licenses, devices, etc.).
- Providing IT support for employees and partners.
- Delivering IT-based solutions to support corporate processes.
Your Qualifications
Requirements:
- Valid work permit for Germany (mandatory).
- 3+ years of experience or a keen interest in training.
- Fluent in German or native-level proficiency.
- Home office is possible, but living near Cologne is advantageous for onsite tasks (e.g., in the office or server room).
- Strong mindset for IT security and system stability.
- Solid networking knowledge.
- Understanding of business and project requirements.
- Team-oriented, reliable, and well-organized.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in one of the following areas:
- Administration of Linux servers (Debian, bash, borg, etc.).
- Administration of Microsoft infrastructures (AD, Entra, MS 365, Windows Server).
- Administration of containers and cloud services (Docker, AWS, etc.).
Bonus Skills:
- Experience managing Windows servers and Microsoft domains.
- Expertise in enterprise computer networks (routing, VPN, DNS, firewall, VLANs, etc.).
- Experience with agile development tools and services (e.g., Jira, Git, etc.).
- Familiarity with DevOps or MLOps concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Nexus, Sagemaker, Azure AI, GCP, Notebooks, etc.).
